Hi all, this isn't my favorite way to start posting on the website, but it is what it is. So I applied to and got accepted to the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn for Fall 2014, and was given a 19k scholarship. Their tuition is 60k overall, so the scholarship is what makes it doable to attend. It says on their website to keep the scholarship you need a 2.5 GPA overall while at Pratt.
Well, here's what I'm nervous about. I have pretty low senior year grades, Bs and Cs, because I guess I've just been focusing on everything except my studies lately. When I got accepted to Pratt I had a 3.0 GPA overall, nothing very high or remarkable but I go to a difficult private school and I've just always been about an average student here. I am worried that upon seeing my final senior year grades, Bs and Cs, they would then revoke my scholarship?
Does anyone have experience with this, or know what would happen? I graduate at the end of May, and then my final grades get sent after that. I already declined to other colleges and paid the deposits for Pratt so if I lose the scholarship I wouldn't be able to afford to attend there and I would be out of a college to go to in the fall.
Do you think they'd take away the scholarship? Should I ask?

I would definitely call and ask. Not many people would know the answer to this question besides people @ Pratt. My guess would be no because Bs and Cs aren’t /that/ low. It probably works the same as rescinding admission, which they wouldn’t if your lowest grade was a C. But then again, that’s just my guess. Call and make sure if you need this scholarship to attend.

There is no way we can know what Pratt will do. Call them and talk to them.
