LOWER score on one section of SAT

<p>So basically I got my Oct. scores back today</p>

<p>CR: 680
Math:710
Writing:740 (69MC, 11 essay)</p>

<p>Now, these were my scores from May 09</p>

<p>CR: 620
Math:800
Writing: 690 </p>

<p>I did better on every section, except i'm surprised that my math score dropped by 90 points!!!...(maybe the curve was harsher???) Will colleges look down at this??? I also scored an 800 on the math 2 subject test, but I'm not sure how much it'll compensate for the huge score drop. </p>

<p>actually my math score dropped 100 points as well! I don’t know what happened. The curve must have been harsher. i have very high math scores on all other math std tests (sat IIs and ap).</p>
