Lower Score Than I Wanted

My school finally distributed the PSAT scores, and guess what I got?

Reading- 66
Math- 67
Writing-67

All for a grand total of 200.

:(

And I think the fact that all three scores were nearly the exact same is quite odd.

That is strange. And sixties are not bad scores by any means - nobody in my high school even hit 200 last year, I don't think.
If you're not happy, make sure your SAT scores are spectacular.
[If it makes you feel any better, I scored 56, 50, and 66]

Nowhere except CC will you find people who complain over getting a 200 on the PSAT. It's a fine score, possibly commended.

yeah, everyone on CC seems to be like geniuses... i was wondering if everyone in the states was like people on CC, but it looks like the answer is hopefully NO. haha good for me...

Tsenguun, "success is 1% inspiration, 99% perspiration."
Being a genius means nothing. Getting a large PSAT score means nothing. Being able to work hard means everything.

As a non-native speaker, I understand how much the SAT is a pain in the @ss for you and me. Yet, through hard work and dedication I increased my PSAT from 183 (sophomore yr; 73 M, 51 CR, 59 W) to 227 Junior yr (75M, 79 CR, 73 W). I'm no genius, and I bet a lot of High scorers on CC are not genius anyway.

Soooo, to have success:
"Don't just wish for it, WORK for it"

Everyone of you guys have to potential, now, it's time to show that you got it.

what if someone (like me) didn't take the PSAT in soph year because they lived in a country where PSATs were non-existent? Would a blindly taken PSAT of 183 be a good score, considering that I took it blindly?

PSAT doesn't matter.

wow!!!

i got a 66 W, 65 M, 66 Cr....

must have been a really weird curve
