<p>I’m sure you would be singing a different tune if you actually got accepted to UCLA. Obviously he/she had something else that made up for their low gpa. Besides it isn’t an impacted major and the avg. gpa admitted last year was a 3.3.</p>
<p>I’m sorry you didn’t get in, if it wasn’t your first choice then who cares. Let these people be happy, its a great accomplishment. I saw your stats and yes, you probably should have been admitted with the rest of us but if you are so upset about it and really feel like they made a mistake then appeal.</p>
<p>I’m serious guys! 2.7. But, I did however write a killer essay. I had a professor read it a couple of times.</p>
<p>But most of my classes are in Math, Chemistry, Physics, and Bio. I’m pre-pharmacy. So these classes killed my GPA. But overall my Ethnic Studies classes were all A’s. </p>
<p>I got in, that’s all that matters. I’m very grateful!</p>
<p>In one post you said that you got in as an english major and then in another post you said you got in as an asian american studies major. These posts were 20 minutes apart in two different UCLA threads. So which one did you get in as?</p>
<p>My GPA is around a 2.8, and I’m applying as a Anthropology B.A. major. Yes, pre-pharmacy destoryed my grade also, so I’m glad to hear from someone like me.</p>
