<p>I was wondering if any of you guys have heard of some special cases of friends or family accepted to CAL or UCLA with unusual 'low' GPAs. </p>

<p>A 3.4 isn’t necessarily a “low” GPA; it depends on the major. And if the applicant had TAP, it’s not surprising at all. </p>
<p>For UCLA that is. For CAL, well, different story lol.</p>
<p>My buddy got into UCLA bio with a 3.2 and TAP a while back</p>
<p>I saw a girl got an admission from UCLA Asian humanity with 3.1. Neither TAP nor special activities.</p>
<p>Yeah but that’s Asian humanities. They probably had 4 applicants.</p>
<p>1.5 = all the football players at USC .</p>
<p>3.3 Psychology major.
