Loyola's Mail Room

What goes on here?? Everything (from post cards to pamphlets to packets to acceptance letter to scholarship) I receive from Loyola is beat to hell. Rips, tears, dents, bends, crumples, water damage.

I've never experienced this with any other school, and I wonder if it's something up in Loyola's mail room, or if the mail carrier selectively damages Loyola mail.

Obviously, it doesn't change my positive perception of the schools, it's just something another Loyola mail-recipient I know and I laugh about/are confounded over.

Anyone else?

Our stuff from Loyola looks fine. Maybe it is your post office.

Quite possibly; the other person I know that has the problem is in the same town.

However, I am confounded by the fact that it is always Loyola Maryland mail and no other. Perhaps it will remain a mystery.

Do you mind me asking if mail from Loyola arrived today ? Was it for a student already accepted ? Or for a student waiting for a “regular decision” ? Thanks !

Actually, yes; the piece of mail that made me think to post this was a pamphlet for an accepted student open house.

Thanks BillyMc…we are still waiting ANXIOUSLY to find out if our son will be accepted so the lead-up to the “by March 15th” announcement has been difficult…if he makes it, I don’t think we would CARE what shape/condition the envelope comes in !!!

Good luck. Haha, while my acceptance envelope was damage, the contents were unharmed.

pops4sgp- I am also anxiously for my acceptance letter, I try to rush home and get the mail as soon as possible.

Does anyone know what day decisions have been recieved in the past?
