<p>I was accepted into the LSA and put down "pre-business" as academic interest and applied for the Ross School of Business. If I am not admitted into Ross, does that mean I'm going undeclared for the first year? or are all LSA students supposedly undeclared? If not, can I still become an econ major if I dont get into Ross?</p>
<p>Everybody in LSA starts of undeclared. You usually don't declare a major until around sophomore year. The intended major part of the application is only for statistical purposes, you're not held to that in any way shape or form.</p>
<p>If you do not get into Ross, you can be Any major. Even Engineering (you just have to take the classes for that school, and it's not hard at all).</p>
