LSAT or BS? Which is more important, your LSAT score or the college you went to?

I am thinking about going to university of illinois at chicago. it is not a very highly ranked university, and i am wondering 1. does UIC have a good record of sending students to top tier law(yale, harvard, uofchicago, etc) schools 2. does the college you went as an undergrad really matter that much as long as you took challenging courses and got good excellent LSAT's? I am sure this thread will help a great many more people than myself. your help would be greatly appreciated.

Although I have heard very little about UIC-Chicago, and can't really answer that part of your question, I can tell you that the UG school affecting admissions argument has been discussed ad nauseum. It's just 5-6 threads down from this one, "does the reputation..."

The LSAT will be far more important than where you go to college. If you ace your LSAT, and get good grades anywhere, you'll almost certainly be going to a top law school.

Quality of undergrad is more of a secondary issue, and is neither necessary nor sufficient for LS admissions (though it may be helpful at the margins.)
