What are the best LSAT prep books - eg Kaplan, Princeton Review...

I think the general consensus is Powerscore.

PowerScore books are the best, hands down. I’ve gone through the books offered by other major test-prep companies, and they’re mostly crap. Kaplan stands out for its particularly poor quality. I’m working as a freelance LSAT tutor at the moment, and the majority of my students came to me after having less than satisfactory experiences with Kaplan courses.

Thanks for the replies. I just started looking into the LSAT, so I’ve never heard of PowerScore before. I can vividly recall the inferior pos quality of Kaplan from high school…makes me shudder.

Another question:
Looking at the PowerScore books, is there a recommended order to which books I purchase and practice through? Logic games, Reading Comprehension, Logical Reasoning. I’m an absolute noob to LSATs. I do not know what I’m stepping into.

The PowerScore books are great. They’re reviewed here. There’s a recommended (and intense!) LSAT study schedule here.

Came across this post on Craigslist and was able to get both Bibles and 40 test and explanations. Think very helpful for students taking the test and don’t have the cash to pay for all the expensive books. All the material was sent to me by email. SUPER HELPFUL!

I’m afraid you got ripped off big time.

^— How so?

- What you received is not legit without the original paper copies.
- If you don’t care about legitimacy, you could have obtained it for nothing on the net.

Are the PowerScore bibles on the net??? What is the link?

No they are not on the net. At least not legally. UGAdawg prob got sent files someone dloaded from a torrent, unless he is just here promoting his own link. Think textbooktorrents…

The [best LSAT prep books](http://onlawschool.com/68/best-lsat-prep-books) for learning the basics of the LSAT and the basics of each section are the logic games bible, the reading comprehension bible, the logical reasoning bible, the LSAT SuperPrep.

The [best LSAT prep books](http://onlawschool.com/68/best-lsat-prep-books) for practicing questions are the REAL previously released LSAT preptests. I think that you need to get the “10 actual, official LSAT preptests”, the “next 10 actual, official LSAT preptests”, “10 more actual official LSAT preptests”, and maybe 10-20 of the most recent LSAT preptests.

Powerscore also has some [great lsat prep books](http://onlawschool.com/68/best-lsat-prep-books) that actually break down certain exams question-by-question and give explanations for them. Those are quite helpful as well.
