LSAT Preperation

Which course is the best for LSAT Prep? Kaplan, Princeton Review... I know there are several and I can't decide which to take.

The general consensus is that Powerscore's techniques are better than either of the ones you mentioned. However, many students find one-on-one tutoring to be more effective. It's difficult for instructors to cater to the varying ability levels of a dozen or more students at once.

My son used individual tutoring from Powerscore and thought it was excellent. It's pricey but his score increased 21 points from his first timed practice test to the actual LSAT so we thought it was a worthwhile investment.

self-study is also a viable option - you could use the Powerscore "bibles":

Logic Games Bible

Logical Reasoning Bible

Reading Comp Bible

Thanks everyone for all the help! Sounds like Powerscore it is!

what about testmasters versus powerscore?

I was wondering if there was a way to take a pre- lsat online before the real one. Does any one know how to go about that?

I forget which one it is (I think its a June of something recent) but it is a free LSAT that was released by LSAC and widely available for free online. Take that one and see how you do. Or spend 8 bucks at Barnes and Noble and buy a prep test
