Princeton Review vs. Kaplan

What prep course is better? I've heard that Kaplan is a waste of money, but I haven't heard anything about Princeton. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

From all accounts, these are the worst two test prep companies you can use for the LSAT. Better to go with PowerScore or Test Masters if either is available in your area.

or blueprint...Ps, TM, and BP are all pretty much the same

Powerscore/Testmasters/Blueprint

If you're going to take a prep-course, listen to the above posters. Man, do I wish I had received better advice on this topic (as do many, if not all of my former prep classmates).

In fairness, sometimes companies other than PR/Kaplan aren't a real option (this was my problem)--they're not offered at/near your school, or they start in the middle of the summer and you live across the country...whatever. In this case, I'd recommend self-study combined with tutoring (if you're going to spend the $$$, this is how it's better spent, and I would also assume that PR or Kaplan tutoring would be better than a course), and also perhaps talking to the companies (if schedule is the issue, they might be willing to let you take half the course in your hometown and half once you get to school or something equally odd).

Good luck!
