LSE versus GWU - Masters in Political Communication

Hi,

I’m currently holding two offers for graduate programmes in Political Communication. I’m UK based, but have studied in the US as an exchange student previously.

  1. LSE - Msc Politics and Communication
  2. GWU - MA Media and Strategic Communication

I’m incredibly conflicted as to what to choose. I love Washington DC (I previously studied there as an exchange student) and would ultimately prefer to work in the States, although I realise it can be difficult to remain there after graduation.

On other hand, LSE is LSE. It’s very prestigious and I feel wrong thinking about turning it down. It’s also going to be significantly less expensive. GWU is a very good school for this kind of programme as well, but I know that many would say LSE is more prestigious. Thoughts?
