LUMS with the SAT

I am a student who attends LGS. I am in A2 and have already begun sending out applications to universities. My schedule is very hectic and I want to avoid giving the LCAT (if this is possible). I have given the SAT Reasoning Test, score of 2280 : CR(800) M(760) W(720), and wanted to know if this is enough for LUMS. My counselor suggests that I should give the LCAT but I am still not sure =/ Help. Also, I am applying to SDSB but have no history of any sort of Business education (although I have interned at Business companies). My A-level grades are perfect and I have both Math and Further Math with 8As in O-level. Does this suffice for the dearth of business subjects?

You want to avoid giving LCAT, because you’re scared u won’t get in if you did. Your SAT scores are below par than that of an average LUMS candidate. Also everyone has got further maths these days…it’s the easiest subject especially that mechanics wala part.

yeah, I know :frowning: laikin lums ka scene IA on karein ge (Y) himmat kar ke LCAT bhi de dia tha laikin koi umeed nahin =P

I was just surfing through these threads when I stumbled upon this. SAT scores " below par" , “everyone takes further math” ? Seems like a jealous guy trying to bring someone down. Altamash got into LUMS AND Duke , so yeah. So much for " below par"

@LaalBee I’m pretty sure that guy was trolling :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t think you guys fully caught the sarcasm is both his and my responses :stuck_out_tongue: In any case, thanks for the love and nice thoughts you shared <3
