Lunch at UCF

I will be visiting UCF in the next month. I heard that the food court is near the reflecting pool. Is this a cafeteria or an area full of fast food restaurants?

There is a food court in the Student Union which is a little bit further in than the Reflecting Pond. The food court has various fast food restaurants (Burger King, Sbarro, Subway etc.) and then there’s the two school “cafeterias” one of which is located near the arena (I haven’t been to the other so I’m not sure where it is). On the breezeway next to the bookstore is a Chik-fil-a. Hope this helps!

The second “cafeteria” that UCFKnight was talking about is kind of close to the Reflecting Pond. It’s called the Market Place and its in Ferrell Commons, a grouping of buildings right between the Apollo and Libra housing communities. Prices vary by meal, breakfast is around $6, lunch $8, and dinner $10, its a buffet though so you get your money’s worth. The Market Place is a little better in my opinion because it actually has a few more food stations even though the other “cafeteria” is almost the same. Also, Market Place is open later. One other food spot literally right next to the Reflecting Pond is Salsa To Go.
