I am currently a junior in high school and i just started looking into BC. I came across the Lynch School of Education and i was wondering if in applying, you apply to that school and it has a separate admissions process(like you would do when applying to a college in a large university) or if its a program you can only apply to after you are already in bc and have completed a year or two?

you apply to one of the 4 schools at boston college (Education, Management, Nursing, or Arts & Sciences) your app is only considered for that school, (it’s not like if you don’t get into Management then you get moved to A&S). they say that the admissions stats are pretty equal between the 4 schools. you can transfer schools once you get to BC but it is highly discouraged and basically impossible if you want to switch into Carroll School of management. if you want to switch into Nursing or Education its hard because then you have missed a lot of the prerecs. hope this helped!

exactly what i wanted to know, thanks!
