<p>I'm curious to see if our snail mail messages are the same. Mine has a fake dean's signature at the bootom, is dated jan 26, and says "we will first consider you app for M&T program" at the beginning of the 2nd paragraph.</p>

<p>I only received that first letter ("we will first consider you for M&T, then your single degree choice")... never got an "official" M&T correspondence until late december</p>

<p>I also got the snail mail letter about forwarding my application to M&T. I sent a couple of e-mails to Lea Engle requesting information about M&T in September, I think, but the e-mail I received today was the first M&T-specific correspondence I've received since applying. While I really hope it's a good sign, I don't really know what to think. I guess we'll see in a week anyway.</p>

<p>Ok, officially, this is not an indication of acceptance, as Early - Decisions acceptees were not sent emails until AFTER their acceptance.</p>
<p>I submitted a paper copy on the last day - so I'm sure my application took a while before being read.</p>
<p>I have to admit - that letter has made me nervous. Previously, I thought I would just be outright rejected since I'm having such terrible luck.</p>

<p>From the discussion back in 2005, it looks like the email does indicate likely acceptance.</p>

<p>Guys, there was a thread from a couple of years ago that discussed this same email.All of those who received an email were accepted, and all who did not were rejected from the program.<br>

<p>this is absolutely not an indication of decision, i just contacted the M&T office. Also, decisions have already been made, so this doesn't mean you've made it to committee as the thread from 2005 said. Also, the 2005 thread was inconclusive!</p>
