great, now i'm freaking out. Oh well, maybe if I get into my second choice I'll just be able to do a dual degree with engineering.

HaHaHa

Just got a K@Wharton newsletter. For a moment, I though that I have gotten into jerome, then i remembered: I haven't applied!

I was looking at the Penn website, and if you do well in college, you can internally transfer, or do a dual degree. So i'm pretty sure that we can be fine and don't have to be in M&T. Also, just a question, do you think doing a Computer Science degree would be good for Law School. Also, is it possible to do a concentration in a different college from the one you applied to?

That's why i didn't applied, I think they have 5 spots for transfers.

Sorry, I have no clues about your questions.

for internal transfers, its a lot easier to get into, than external transfers.

I don't think they have external transfers? I have applied to Penn(CAS)

If you transfer as a sophomore, there is a good chance to get in, if you have a good GPA

crazy88 you can cheat yourself all you like, but this has historically been proven to be a sign of acceptance. However this doesn't meanthat you didn't get into your backup school

I understand that this can be a sign of acceptance, however, just because you didn't get the email, does it mean you got rejected, as the thread that was cited from 2005 indicated that the email only means you've been sent to committee, but i'm wondering if the "clear admits" make it to committee?

How the hell would you know Dionysus, especially when you've only been around for this round of admissions? You searched, read the thread, and decided that anyone who didn't get it was rejected. When in fact, no one actually said that people who didn't get it, don't get in.

Stop terrorizing people, when you obviously don't really know what you're talking about.

Aren't you so quick to judge? But it's fine, I have nothing to prove. Good luck, and let me know how it turns out :)

If it makes you feel any better, I don't recall receiving this email during the ED round and just searched through my email and did not find it.

if an rd admit from previous years says that, I'd be relieved!

Doing a search, I don't think that the ED people in previous years got the letter, though.

This is all based on speculation; although it has made me more hopeful, I'm not going to think that I got in until I see the acceptance letter.

Dang, I did not receive that email.

after decisions are out, everybody post your result here and put an end to the M&T email mystery!

just fyi; there are two threads about this on the old cc forums which you can search for also; one of people saying they received the email, and another of who was accepted into m&t.

just curious mooses, did u chose m&t or UCSD?

mooses - perhaps I'm dumb, but I really don't understand what you're trying to say. Are you referring to the link that I posted earlier in this thread from 2 years ago? Or are you referring to a different thread.?

Regardless, right now I'm as nervous as a bottle of rum beside a parched pirate.

haha.. that must be very nervous!

mooses- do you mean to say that a guy who hasnt received the email was accepted? can you give us the link?
