MA in Security Studies and/or IR?

Hi everyone,

I'm a rising senior at a second tier UC. I'm specifically interested in getting a masters in security studies. I've looked at a few programs and MIT and Georgetown are definitely at the top of my list. But I'm not sure if my app is good enough, so I want to field opinions whether my choices are reachable right out of undergrad prof I should wait a few years after working, or if I'm missing anyprograms.

Looking to stay in the east coast (preferably DC, Boston area) Are these schools within my reach?

Check out Syracuse University: Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs. It’s not in DC or Boston but it does have great program.

Also GWU. Would need GRE scores to get a better picture of your profile.

Haven’t taken the gre yet, but I’m guessing 700v/600m/6

Hello, does anyone know anything about Trinity university’s internatioal security program or Johns Hopkins program in global security?

Did you ever go to the top schools you wanted to go to?
