Macaulay Honors City College vs Stony Brook University

<p>Hi, I've been accepted to Macaulay City and Stony Brook intending to do a Chemical Engineer major. Do any of you have advice on which college I should choose assuming money isn't an issue.</p>

<p>I'm mainly concerned with the strength of the academics and the likelihood to find research opportunities, jobs, and internships during and after my four years at these colleges.</p>

<p>go with Macaulay Honors CCNY, its cheaper and there will be more job/internship opportunities because it is in NYC and not in rural Long Island. Stony is also more known for its med program than engineering.</p>

<p>Agree - CCNY has an excellent reputation for engineering, and the location is great for internships etc.</p>
