I have heard that the Apple Store at Bama has sales on MacBooks during orientation.
Is this some special deal offered only at Bama, or is it pretty much the same education discount offered online through Apple?
Just wondering if I should wait and buy the computer at Bama or get one online.

PS - strongly considering the new 12" MacBook (the new thin one with the Retina display that came out recently and weighs 2 lbs) - anyone out there got one? If so, do you like it?
Checked out the 12" new MacBook at best buy tonight - ick! Too thin!
Will go for 15" MPB with retina display!
The 12" only has one port which doubles as the charging port (it’s a USB -C) - do not like.
@scholarme agreed! Plus, the computer seemed rather flimsy. I definitely think a MacBook Pro will suit us better.

There is also an Apple Store at The Summit in Mountain Brook just off 459.
FYI…the Apple Store in the Supe is an excellent source for repairs if needed.
