I have a two houses in different states. So in my permanent home, I live with my mother. My father lives in the other home. However, my parents are not divorced. I answered 'Parent 1 (my mom)' to the question 'With whom do you make your permanent home?' I accidentally put that my father's address is the same as my permanent address. I meant to put a different home address for my father. Should I contact each college I applied to about this mistake?

Probably.

Even more so as some colleges like to mail you stuff and also if you want to be considered for instate tuition for your state college you have to have the right address

I really don’t see a need to correct it. You told them the correct permanent address for you and your mom; it’s just your dad’s address that isn’t correct. His address isn’t important to your application at all and so long as the college has your correct address, there isn’t anything critical to be changed.
