For Fall 2010 and Spring 2011, I reported that I was taking Mus 39: Master Chorale, but it turned out that I’m one digit off and the course number is actually Mus 38 and not 39. Both Mus 38 and 39 are the same thing, but under different names (Mus 38 is just Chorale and Mus 39 is Masterworks Chorale).

I’m going to report these changes, but what will Davis say about my accidental misreport? Would I get in trouble just because I failed to input the correct course number for my fall and spring semester choir class?

Is it a-g?
Are either one of them a-g?
If not I don’t think it should be a big deal. Just give them a proper explanation and you should be fine.
Best of Luck

I’m a community college transfer student.

I’m a transfer too sweetlacecharm. I did the same thing and just reported it and no problems at all. :)

^ how did you report it? I’m thinking of deleting the Mus 39 course listing and then replacing it with the correct course listing (Mus 38) and explain that I “dropped” Mus 39 because it wasn’t the right course number and that I’m replacing it with Mus 38 which is the correct course number, but I’m not sure if I should do that. Should I just explain in the additional notes that I was off on the course number for my music class?

First of all apologizes for mixing up your admission. Best thing would be call up the admissions office to get ask for who you should email about your situation. If that is not possible then put it as dropped MAKING SURE you explain EXACTLY what happen and you didn’t actually drop the course in the comments section but instead reported the wrong one in the first place.
If you explain your situation properly you will be fine.
I’m not sure if this is an option for transfer students as well but on the column that says to report changes in your grade/update grades at the very bottom it says comments. I would say just explain the situation in that and send to see what the reply would be. I was concerned about one of my grades and what might happen and when I called freshmen admission that is what they told me to do. Make sure if you do this way that you don’t change anything on your grades/courses and just put what happen in the comments section.
Best of Luck

how did things turn out with the last change you made?

I realized my mistake earlier on around March so I just edited it on the UC application and called UC Davis at Undergraduate admissions, I believe I used this # (530) 752-2971
