I am a senior in high school at the moment, and I was recently accepted to UC Davis. I reported a minor class mistake on my UC application and it was resolved without a problem, but this opened a whole can of worms for me. I found that there was a section that said to include colleges attended during high school, and at the time of applying I just did not consider two classes I took online over the summer two years ago for purely enrichment purposes.
I thought it wouldn’t be a big deal to just report it because I got an A- in one of them, but when I checked my transcript from the community college a few days ago I saw that my Intro to Business Information Systems grade was an F because I was never actually dropped when I thought I did drop it. (I know now that this was my mistake for not going through the correct procedures to drop it). I reported it anyways to Davis, but now I am super stressed out because even though this was a non-transferable/non-a-g course, I completely forgot to mention it and it might have seemed like I was trying to hide it. I called the admissions officer and told her my whole story and she said she would notify the committee asap to review my situation. I know at this point all I can do is wait, but can anyone share similar experiences/situations and tell me how it worked out for them? I am just so worried that my admission will be jeopardized because of an F in a completely unnecessary course, even though I reported it to them before I sent the transcripts.
*please reply if you’ve been in/heard of this situation before. thank you!
