I recently applied to a prestigious four year liberal arts college, I am an ED2 applicant. In my opening sentence I accidentally wrote: I am going to the change the world. Instead of: I am going to change the world. Is this going to look very poorly? The rest of the essay is very well written.
No, it’s fine. I had to read over it a few times to even see what you were talking about. Even if it were a glaring error, that wouldn’t affect your chances of admission.
