<p>I received a postcard in the mail that I am accepted in the National Scholars Honor Society. I was very surprised and skeptical because my GPA is below 3.0. On the website, it stated that you have to have a 3.6 GPA to join and you have to pay a fee.</p>

<p>Is this organization legit? It seems to me like they send this card to practically everybody to collect the fee.</p>

<p>Your first impression is right. Whether they do anyone any good or not I don't know, but they send the thing out to way too many people to get them to pay the fee.</p>
