Mail Call

Letter arrived today with new cadet mailing address. We understand that it could change on R-Day, and that we should explain this to anyone who will be writing over the summer. Or just hold off and give friends/relatives the 100% accurate address then.

The letter also said that company assignments would be given to the new cadets on R-Day.

My mail out also included the computer information for our computers.

Any possible correlation between PO box number and company? Maybe the lucky few who have both can speculate on this.

I don't think there is, but there might be. I have a 4000 number, while others I know of are in the 200's.

Chew on this: your surname is Y whereas mine is A. Your number is in the 4000s while mine is 0020s. Could it be alphabetical?

Hmmm...that would work, but they don't reorganize everything every year. They might take the list of people and the list of available numbers, and go from there... Or it could be SSN's

Alphabetical works well. I'm a "B", and I'm 0225.

My daughter is an "M" and is in the 3400's.

Daughter is an L and in the 400's

She so just ruined the pattern.

I believe the PO boxes are just assigned out as they become vacated by the firsties that just graduated. No rhyme or reason that I can see.

Shucks.
Tick-tock...there are eleven and a butt days until we lose our citizan status...
