Hi. I'm new to CC so I apologize now for any mistake I will make. I'm in high school right now and i still have 2 years. I've been thinking about college majors. Ever scince, I have a keen liking for math. I currently take geometry, and have college credits in algebra. I'm looking to be a hospital CFO. one of the first steps is to become an accountant and then a CPA. firstly I want to ask, is it possible to get an accounting degree Ina four year college right after high school? Also can you work while going to college at a firm, like a low paying internship? If yes, then what do you do after you graduate as an accounting major. Do you automatically start to work at a place such as a firm, or do you wait? How do you become a CPA. Do you need extra schooling, and when do you take the BIG test was it hard? After you take the big test what happens? Can you apply to other jobs. Lastly, so many CPAs get MBAs?

If there are any college accountant major graduates, was the college hard? What classes did you take, what was the avg time spent on schoolwork?

Thanks!!!!!!!!!
