If I major in nutrition, will I be adequately prepared for the mcat? I mean I'd have to take all the premed classes to get into med school regardless. Any thoughts on nutrition for undergrad?

Biomedical engineers and physics majors are the best prepared for the MCATs (sorry, I don’t have the link). The premed prerequisites are the minimum classes you need for the MCATs.

The prerequisites for medical school cover the subjects that are tested on the MCAT, to my recollection. You’ll still want to prepare specifically for the MCAT, of course, but class-wise, the prereqs should cover the subjects tested on the MCAT. No major will prepare you more for it than any other major. With any major, it would be advised to prepare specifically for the exam.
