<p>I've been attending a community college for 1 and a half years and next sprint will be my final semester. I am thinking of applying to a few Cal States (SDSU, SJSU, Fullerton) for Business Management. However, I had only realized what I wanted to major in, this late in my academic journey. Therefore, I have not taken a lot of pre-requisites for most business programs. I have a 3.9 college GPA. However I am also aware that my chances of being admitted will be lower than those who took the prerequisites. My question is, can I still apply to the cal states to complete the prerequisites for my major? I know it will take longer for me to graduate, cost more, etc. I just want to know if it is possible to go with this route.</p>
<p>That’s a conversation best had with the admissions offices of your target schools and your own CC’s transfer counselor. I’m sure he/she has advised students who were short prereqs like you in the past.</p>
