major score variations between tests?

Just curious, how many of you took the ACT for the first time and got like 21-25, and then retook the test and got a 27+

give me some hope. haha

Well how many of you guys took it and got less than 30 (say 26~29) and then retook it and got 32+?

28 to 32 for my d

rodney--- What did your daughter do to make that jump? I got a 28 and my goal is a 32 so any advice would be great.

I went 26 to 30 to 34...studying really works.

Nicole: all she did was take a few practice tests to get the timing down..She was still disappointed with her science score (below 30) but decided that it was not significant enough to do it again.....I think the ACT, unlike the SAT, is a test of practice in many cases....If I would have known that, I probably would have had her taken the actual test much earlier than spring of junior year and would have had her take it over and over for practice; the scores do not need to be sent, so no need to worry about bad scores being seen...For my younger D, who is a horrible tester, I will probably have her start beginning of junior year....

I went from a 22 to a 27 in a matter of 3 weeks worth of studying.

Is there a limit to how many times you can take the ACT and still have your composite valid?
