<p>If I have been admitted into UW with pre-major as an international transfer student but miss the departmental application deadline, will UW cancel my admission to UW or I will still be admitted into UW with pre-major?</p>

<p>If I select a competitive major, am I being admitted with pre-major to UW?</p>

<p>Can I apply for departmental admission where the major does not list on my UW application form after being admitted into UW?</p>

<p>I'm very interested in Electrical Engineering but fine with Computer Engineering too. If Computer Engineering Departmenthas admit me, should I accept the offer or remain as pre-major? I am afraid that if Computer Engineering Department admit me this time but I reject the offer, later I apply both departmrnt again and does not admit by either departnent.</p>

<p>Most students are admitted to UW and not to a specific department. You will first be considered by UW itself.</p>

<p>If you are admitted to UW and have applied to a competitive major, you will be considered for departmental admission by the department. If you are not admitted to the department, you can still be into the school. </p>

<p>At UW, most students don’t declare their major till their second year. Very few students get into engineering majors upon admission. It’s something to worry about if you get there.</p>
