ok, you are all saying that when your majors are greyed out, that it means something...........what does it mean? i cannot make up an acct. at my neu, does that have significant relevance?

After majors are grayed out, several long days later the list of materials received disappears (ie: recs, sat scores). If you can log into myneu after that material list has disappeared (took my son a couple of more days) then you should be in. It still took a couple of more days for his acceptance notice to appear on myneu. Last Friday his acceptance came in the mail (large white envelope with congratualtions written on the front).

hummmmm well they are grayed out, but i cannot log on to my neu. wierd! however i know many got rejetion letters in NY and other neighboring states on Thurs. Friday and Sat. I am glad i am still in the "neutral" state! but nothing has disappeared, just grayed out, i am sure there is no correlation.

Well, good luck. I hope that you have some other choices, b/c it seems like plenty of kids with good stats are rejected here.

for sure, its so random. thankfully northeastern is not my first choice, GW is, then American then Indiana-Bloomington, where I got a scholarship but if I got into Northeastern I would go take a look, because I love Boston and I like their coop program and see what happens. I doubt I will get into GW although I am legacy, and not sure about American so we will see............can't wait till this is over! What were you sons stats?
