I know, you're probably right. At least the fact that the majors are frozen may have some significance...like they're reviewed the application. Thanks for the reality check!

This actually happened this year as well with the EA decision. You should be getting notification very soon if the boxes are greyed out. Well after all, it is the 13th!

Here's what happened for EA. The boxes became greyed out, then the list of received documents disappeared with the message "your application is complete"......... This happened on Dec. 18th and decisions were due out by Dec. 31st. People didn't start seeing their decisions until around 6PM that night. But some resourceful individuals attempted to create a MyNEU account using their ID #. Some were successful in doing that which mean they had been accepted. Then they saw their on-line decision later that night. The website was so busy it took us about 20 minutes to open the letter.

We got a letter in the mail the following week.

i also found the thread from last year and it kinda makes me more nervous because my boxes are also grayed out. but almost 30 people from my school in MA applied and 2 have already gotten in EA so I'm not sure if this looks good for me...

As soon as all you materials are in, and your file is ready for review, they prevent you from changing your major, so as to give the admissions committee a more concrete image.

On a related note, in the documents section, it says they have receieved an incomplete transcript. But my school says they have sent the entire transcript till date. I mailed admissions, but didnt get a reply. What should I do? I think its too late to send in another copy.... :( Will this affect my chances badly?

Also, does everyone have to submit the FAFSA or only the admitted students? I am an international, and I dont think I can submit FAFSA, but I intend to apply for fin aid

I was admitted EA, and my boxes were greyed out for weeks. I received an email at 8 pm PST (11 pm EST) hours after others were admitted. So even if your boxes are greyed out, don't count on hearing back that soon
