if a student is at Georgetown University (the college of arts and sciences not the business school, the college is harder to get into), and could major in Art History and get a high GPA or math and get a lower gpa, which would be more appealing to an ibank?

Math

what about doing an econ major?

I’ve been asked this question a lot, and have seen a number of forums regarding this question around, and, honestly, if you attend a Target, go for the highest GPA possible, and be able to explain why you chose major X. If, however, you attend a semi-target, I would stick to math, econ, eng, or a science, as they will be more applicable than history and such. If you have any other questions, feel free to PM me. In your case, I would go with math, and really work to keep my GPA up.
