Majors: Which is better? Undecided or a Specific?

<p>I'm about to fill out the initial part of my application to UPenn (the form that is recommended to be submitted "IMMEDIATELY" on the application timeline. By the way, does it really matter how early it's submitted?), and one of the questions pertains to college major. I was wondering...</p>

<p>I'm interested in biology, but would it more advantageous for me to apply undecided? Is there a better chance of me getting admitted? I know that usually a large portion of a given class is undecided.</p>

<p>My bio/science-related stats:</p>

<ul>
<li>A/B+s in AP/Honors Biology (Junior/Freshman years, respectively)</li>
<li>4 on AP Test (meh...)</li>
<li>Started the Science Club at my school</li>
<li>25 on ACT Science Section (......yeah...probably the biggest reason I might go undecided.)</li>
<li>I went to a UPenn science-related program over the summer for a month, and displayed a good interest in science in my app/while i was there.</li>

<p>Do you think I'd have a better chance of going as a biology major or an undecided? Do you think that any of my scientific extracurriculars (like the science club/the Penn program) would be less important as an undecided student? Thanks.</p>
