<p>Sorry..maybe that was false advertising, but I could really use some chancing help since I think I'm applying to too many schools out of my league.
Anyways, here are my stats:</p>

<p>Academics:
GPA - Weighted: 3.70
Class Rank: top 10% (I’m Lucky Number 10 out of 75 kids..yes 75)</p>

<p>I have taken AP World, and Plan on taking AP Bio, Human Geography and Literature next year. I got a 5 on AP World and a 3 on AP Euro (Self Study).</p>

<p>SAT - 1740
Extracurriculars:
FIRST Robotics Team - Captain
Model UN - Secretary
Geography Club
Mock Trial – Founding Member
Global Ideas Festival Planning Committee
UCONN Mini Medical Program</p>

<p>Leadership positions:
Robotics - Safety Captain, Assistant Secretary
Model UN - Secretary
Global Ideas Festival - Primary Researcher</p>

<p>Volunteer/Service Work:
Teacher in both Arabic & Islamic Sudies at my local Mosque
Special Olympics Volunteer
Volunteer at the local Vintage Radio Musuem
Volunteer at my local library</p>

<p>Honors and Awards:
High Honors throughout HS so far
Academic Excellence in various classes
College Summer programs: CREC Program in Global Studies - At St. Joseph's College.I also took American Politics at the same summer program and got 6 college credits total from both classes...</p>

<p>My "Special Qualities":
Just recently traveled to China for school....
Fluent in Swahili & can read & write fluently in Arabic
Helped found several Clubs at my school
Recieved a minor award/scholarship from the University of Rochester
Err...I have a sparkling personality??</p>

<p>I'm interested in a school with a good or solid science program or a good percentage of sending kids to graduate school. That’s because I hope to go on to medical school or at least into international relations as I have a passion for both. My grades are unfortunately not very good (3.7 weighted) compared the rest of the class of ’09 here and I'm not sure about my ECS which are few, but I am devoted to them. </p>

<p>I'm looking at Mount Holyoke, Brandeis, Bard, Tufts, William & Mary, University of Rochester, University of Connecticut, Rutgers so far. I know I have a varied list, but does any have any recommendations for other schools? And feel free to chance! Thanks!</p>

<p>I think William and Mary is a very high reach for you. Your EC's and Special Qualities rock, though. I just don't think you have enough AP's. GPA, not high enough. Did you take Calculus? No question you would do well there and I do wish you the very best of luck.</p>

<p>I don't know about these schools, since I live in California, but I believe that if you are very insecure about your GPA, a SAT of 2000+ would be enough to set your fears at ease. It's very manageable to improve it to that, but I don't see your individual scores unfortunately.</p>
