I took the SAT in December and my scores were not reported. After spending an hour on the phone with the collegeboard I finally found out that I had been accidentally given the test for people with accomidations (such as extra time for example). Although I was timed and took the test with accordance with all the rules, the collegeboard says they cannot score my test. They say I can take a free retest on Jan 6. So now I have both a headache and questions. Will this make up test make it into the UC system which does not accept applications after Dec??? When I asked the lady at the college board this, she casually mentioned that the collegeboard could include a letter of explanation if I requested it. Should I request it? Can a letter hurt me in some way? (maybe the college will suspect me of cheating or something?? I'm paranoid like that :)
