Making distances at IU

How difficult is it to make it to your next class in the fifteen minutes you get? On Mondays I will be going from Wendell to Ernie Pyle, which Google Maps rates as an 11 minute trek. Is this something I should be especially concerned over? Doable or is it worth retooling my schedule to stop it from happening?

You’re fine. Unless you’re going from the stadium to the other side of campus, you can get anywhere in 15 minutes. I was concerned about this as a freshman also, but it’s way overblown unless you are the slowest walker in history or something.

The beauty of IU is it’s a “small” big school. Everything is pretty compact.

My D hasn’t ever had any issue getting around on time. While IU looks big at first once you start walking it a few times you begin to realize that you can get around pretty quickly. I know my D would sometimes catch the bus but most of the times she just found it easier to walk. I doubt you’d have time to grab a bit to eat or drink in that short of time so if its around lunch time you may want to plan ahead and have something in your backpack to eat or drink along the way. My D would do that when needed.
