I was wondering how difficult it would be for me to get into these schools:
Penn State (University Park)
University of Pittsburgh
University of Delaware
Duquense University
Temple University
Bloomsburg University
Drexel University
Widener University
I understand that my SAT score is low. I took it 3 times already and I’m waiting for my results to come back from the third try. I’m also taking the ACT again next week. I have a sibling that attends Penn State (University Park) if that helps too.
Thanks!
I’d suggest to stop taking the ACT so many times and actually study for it. I feel like you are treating the actual ACT tests as practice tests, but that’s a waste of money. There are so many practice ACT tests online for you to use. I am studying to take the ACT for the 2nd time and I’ve taken 9 practice tests so far (all within this month). My average score has risen from a 30 to a 33/34, and I’m trying to solidify a score of 34 by the June 10 ACT. With each test, go back and work out the problems you did wrong. Go to your public library and check out any prep ACT books you can find. Using this method would be a much better use of your time and money. You will improve your timing and notice that the ACT basically asks the same types of questions each time on every test.
PM me if you want the list of practice ACT tests online, because I don’t think I’m allowed to post them on the forum. They’re all actual, official ACT tests that have been administered in the past (including ones that were administered this year, so they’re accurate representations).
As for your chance of those schools, I don’t know enough about them to be able to chance you. Sorry!
Thank you for the advice! I would very much appreciate those practice tests you’ve mentioned because I haven’t really studied for previous tests besides my last SAT. This upcoming ACT is probably going to be my last shot cause I need to apply early and I would have no problem taking a practice test a day until Saturday comes along!
