<p>This man is the cashier at the Lobby Shop, the convenience store located in the Bryan (student) Center. Many students have contacted the administration about this but we have yet to get any responses. As you can read in the article, he has knowingly spread HIV to a number of partners intentionally. How can this man still be employed by Duke?!</p>
<p>There are many people who are trying to turn this into a murder-esque charge; i.e., if you knowingly have HIV and don’t tell your partners, you could be charged with attempted murder, or a similar crime. In fact, one of my old bio teachers did a paper in college on the criminology of spreading HIV like this.</p>
<p>(Clearly, I have no affiliation with Duke but this topic caught my eye).</p>
<p>The Duke administration isn’t very brave when it comes to taking action against anyone who is black and/or gay. If he were a white hetero lacrosse player, he’d already have the entire Duke faculty calling for his hide.</p>
