I applied EDII to CMC and I'm thinking about maybe doing the management engineering program there, and I'm wondering what all of the engineering schools are that you can transfer to after the 3 years at CMC. On the website it says: "Formal programs exist with Columbia University, University of Southern California, Rensselaer Polytechnic and Boston University, among others" so can you apply to basically any engineering school? Or is there a finite list of schools that will let you continue the 3-2 program there? And if so, what is the complete list?
Thanks!

There isn’t a formal list; you apply to the schools after your three years of economics. That said, the partnerships with the above listed schools refers to the fact that we have guaranteed admission with those schools provided you maintain a certain average. For Columbia, it is a 9.0, or a B average. Basically, if there is a school you particularly want to go to, Professor Higdon, the advisor in charge of the 3-2 programs, will work with you on it to help you get wherever you want to go. I suggest that you email him, as he is more knowledgable than I on this subject. I’m an Econ Engineering major right now, and know a moderate amount, but he’s done this for years and could probably answer your questions in more depth. If you have anymore questions, though, I promise to do my best to answer them!
