<p>I saw Rice has this major and I was curious as to what it is. Do any of you know anything about it? What kind of jobs/careers to people pursue with a degree in this?</p>

<p>Unless things have changed, it isn’t a major in and of itself-- it has to be combined with another major (ie double major)</p>

<p>Oh okay. So what if I combined it with Film Studies? Would that be effective? (I would be getting my MFA in Film at USC or UCLA after graduating from Rice)</p>

<p>What do you define as effective? Managerial studies is is going to have little to no impact on getting into graduate school. If film is the way you want to go and the Rice program/education/culture is right for you, then you are set.</p>
