Many options, help pick.

So here’s my plan. Udub or berkely with a major in biology/medicine what I need help with is very odd. So here’s the thing, I just finished my sophomore year with an A in Spanish 2, however freshman year I had a D the first semester but an A the second semester but they both counted as 2 different classes, Spanish 1A and Spanish 1B which brings my cumminitive GPA to a 3.6. So I can retake Spanish 1A online during the fall and replace that grade, or I can take Spanish 3 which I can probably easily get an A in and make that D look like a mistake which I was able to learn all the material I didn’t know with 1 winter break on my own accord which I can use in my essay. Or I can take Spanish 3 and replace the grade. Orrrrr I can replace the grade and taking AP environmental instead of Spanish 3 or ap seminar if I don’t get ap environmental? What do you think?

I think that retaking a course you’ve already taken, and one in which you’ve already taken the succeeding courses, is silly.

And you’re not getting responses because you’ve posted in the “college essay” forum.

Take Spanish 3.
Don’t write about it in your essay. Your subsequent grades are self explanatory, your essay should be about who you are and what you bring to a class/college/community.
Finally, which state are your parents residents of? Start looking instate then add collaborative, private universities (Whitman, Willamette, Lewis and Clark, UPuget Sound, Pitzer, Pomona, etc.) Run the npc and bring the results to your parents to discuss costs.
Go post in the ‘premed’ forum for more help on that subject.

Resident of Hawaii, the colleges here are awful.

Have you run the NPC on each of the colleges listed in #2?

Yes I did, it’s nothing we can afford.

If you can’t get enough merit at Willamette or L&C (two private colleges known for good merit) nor are you eligible for the super-aid based on need at Pomona, then I’m afraid your options for studying OOS are few since it means your stats won’t make you eligible for sufficient for merit aid and you’re either a full-pay or donut-hole family. In that case you’re unlikely to be able to attend either UDub or UC’s.

UC’s would be Full pay $60K/year for OOS. Little to no financial aid available as stated above. What you want vs. what you can afford unfortunately will determine your college list. Have you looked at the WUE schools?
