I'm going to be honest, I hate spanish. I have a 93ish average, 32 ACT (hopefully got it up to a 33 or 34 this last test) and 750s or over on 3 SAT Subject tests. I take the hardest classes available; I took AP euro sophomore year and got a 5.
Took 4 APs this year: Psych, Chem, Lang and Comp, US.

I took Honors spanish 9th and 10th grade but dropped down to regular this year because I had a B in honors and it was haaaard. I got a 98 on the state regents exam but a 84 in the class, which shows that I wasnt really that bad at spanish, just our school's program itself is hard. I sorta drifted through Spanish 4 this year, getting consistent 92s. I just got my final grade back and got an 84 :(. I was planning on taking Spanish 5 next year but I don't want to suffer through a class I never wanted to take in the first place. My only motivation for taking Spanish 5 is to show colleges that I took a language every year in HS. I want to know if colleges will really care; I'll probably get consistent 92s again but its more work I have to do that I could spend focusing on classes I actually care about. Could anyone tell me why I should/shouldn't take spanish 5 next year? Do the schools on my list actually care?
