I came so close to chooing disputation. I had a feeling that it was a false cognate (not related to dispute) but chicanery sounded nice and dastardly. ;O)

Ran out of time on my essay so it barely has a conclusion...it was great other than that, though...arg stupid 25 minute crap, how are you supposed to get 5 paragraphs out of that..

It definitely still mattered; analogies were out but completing sentences were still in.

Oh yeah, I didn't finish my conclusion paragraph either, even though I had great examples. Can you get higher than a 10 with no conclusion paragraph?

for the essay an example you could have used was the US constitution the Framers believed the general population weren't smart enough to guide the nation in the right way so the only directly elected official officers were the house of representatives...the president even to this day is chosen by the electoral college and the senate was picked by state legislatures if i haven't mistaken...

my 3 body pghs for the essay were: historical (slavery, civil rights etc) personal (made up a bunch of crap about fads) literature (to kill a mockingbird)

and then there wasn't any time for a conclusion...ugh i hate myself :O)

there's lots of possibilities for answers for #14 (i'm assuming the abs value question). 15 i got 1600 also i think... 16 if i think that's the question, then i got the same as dlevit.

The SAT doesn't really measure how smart you are, though. It measures how good you are at taking the SAT..if that's what you meant by ability, willmingtonwave. There is a difference.
