March 12 - Official SAT - General Discussion IS open

I've got a quick question about the essay, and I apologize if this is a repeat. I just now realized while looking at a practice SAT that I didn't fill in the "Yes" or "No" bubble at the top of the essay section on the answer sheet. The test proctor never mentioned it and I didn't notice it while I was trying to finish writing. Do you think this affects anything?

how about the "tendency of having" question? is that an error? also what about the churchill one on the "insights into the workings of the human mind"?

If you read the fine print, it clearly states that by marking yes, no, or neither, your answer will not affect your score in any way. I personally marked yes.

for the "tendency of having" question i put that "bored at" was an error. but i was debating between the two. they both seemed wrong.

What were the math sections that everybody had?
1. Grid in (one answer was 1600)
2. Telephone Call time
3. n + 5 fruit =

Is that last one standard or experimental

I marked it "no", not because I object to their using my essay, but because they should damn well give me credit for my work and put my name on it. Yes, I'm fiercely protective of my intellectual property.

Cookie Crisps -- I don't think I had the fruit question on mine.

did you have one where the answer was 2pi?

I had a question about pi, but I'm terrible at elementary geometry and don't know what the answer was. It may have been a different one.

If you're talking about the yinyang circle, the answer was 12pi.

I don't remember getting a n+5 fruit section...

The answer to the average of 3 consecutive odd integers question was s=3n right?

I'm trying to see if I had an experimental math section. If there were 10 sections total, i have counted:
1. Essay
2. Grid in
3. Telephone Question
4. Old English Lady
5. Old Theater
6. Sentimental Dad
7. Triangle with line through it not drawn to scale
8. Cloning
9. Possibly Reading
10. Pssibly MAth

I gotta found out those last two

Didn't have a three consecutive odd integers question, so that one is experimental.

I always confused with that one^^^^^...what was the answer?

Did anyone have a question about how many teachers read the Inquierer?

Cookie Crisps -- I didn't have that question either.

I did have that question.........

I meant that I had neither the first question you posted nor the second one. Sorry about the confusion.

there was a 25 minute math question with a very hard last question...i dont recall the question but the answers were something like x<0, 0<x<2...things like that...i think it was experimental...but can anyone tell me the answer to that...i think i put A (which i think was x<0)...was that the experimental section by the way???

i had a femine and masculine word passage. anyone remember it and was it experimental?

Cookie Crisps: Sections 8, 9 and 10 are never experimental as far as I know. The experimental section will always be 25 minutes long.
