Dont Die On Me Thread!!

When i read the link given in a previous post, I'm still thinking power of phrase instead of motivation... that's just what i see (read) when i read the thing...

:)

Don't worry, this thread will be around for a while. Did anyone have a question about the California Gold Rush for the grammer section? If so, what did you put? I think this might have been in the grammer experimental section I had.

sounds experimental

x^2<x^3<x...all the other ones could work based on the properties of negative and positive whole numbers or fractions, but this one does not.

yeah that one was all about elimination

I think I bombed my essay (west coast. the one on creativity)

I wrote about how people like creativity and why its essential. I also wrote that although people like creativity, creativity has become harder and harder to come by. I also had a stupid example. I mean, I wrote aout Picasso when the prompt asked me about the IMPORTANCE of CREATIVITY IN TODAYS WORLD. The other example is on cell phones.

What do you guys think, did I go offtopic?

And oh does anyone remember the question where it deals with water an buckets or something and there is a graph?

Currently I think 1 math question wrong. Bombed the essay thus a low writi score and medicore CR. Sigh, there does my projected 2250. Curse you essay!

I think the one with the buckets is 1/3, or a certain combination of 1s and 3s... but Im pretty sure it was 1/3. What was the question?

:)

Thats the problem. I thought the question was relatively easy because it seemed so sstraightforward but i think i got an 8 somewhere ;/.

thats the most retardedest smiley face i ever saw.

I guess I'm lost... lol, but what "curve" in the SAT is everybody talking about?? What is that?

Once you get past the shock of the OP's curve and the other CCers' arguments, you'll find information on CB's curve and how it's determined.

Vehement...I think our essays were very similar (except I didn't talk about cell phones). Um...great minds think alike?
