okayyyy i’ll take it.
i dont mind taking calc
but the fact that im being thrown into AP calc sort of upsets me.
i’ll deal with though

M: 800
CR: 800
W: 740 (77, 8e)

Composite: 2340

Expecting: 2200s

Retake?: I am ecstatic about my score. However, I bombed the essay; I would like to think that I am capable of getting more than an 8 (?!) on the essay. I am conflicted about retaking it because my score range is already in the 2300s. Is Writing weighted less than CR and Math or are all three sections worth the same in the eyes of colleges? Thanks!

OMG whats the key to getting an 800 in CR???
that section is just soo hard to me, lol-- (i got a 640)

Damn the harsh math curve,

CR: 800
M: 770
W: 800 (75, 12)

Composite: 2370

Well, don’t take it if you think you’re going to fail it, or do so badly that it will have a negative effect on your GPA. It’s all in good taste. But if you think you will do well and maintain/improve your GPA with it, by all means take it!

ooh noo its not about gpa or anything.
im at a point now where i am basically guaranteed the valedictorian spot–the choice is made after the 1st quarter of senior year–so nahh its not about gpa.
i know once im in a class, i will work to get an A-and im not that bad at math
its just that the teacher is extremely harsh and mean to her ap kidss.
she pushes them–they cryy (she has the whole asian philosophy of teaching btw)

Math - 800
Reading - 740
Writing - 780 (10 Essay)

SAT Total - 2320 / 2400

I’m also conflicted about the possibility of retaking. I know it sounds ridiculous, but Reading is my best area (tied with math I guess) generally, and I just got a bit unlucky on the Vocab section (I realized I mis-bubbled one after walking out).

anyone else think they didn’t bubble correctly besides me and NewAccount? LOL.

somehow, i feel i misbubbled too. Or the lead of my pencil bleed through to the other side of the paper, which probably led to an error in scanning. But I find it unlikely since I have a high score on Math which I predicted.

It really is killing me lol. I wish there’s something I can do about it.

You at least did ok, I didn’t even break 2000.

You’re a sophomore. You shouldn’t be worrying at all.

@NewAccount

There’s always Multiple Choice Verification, but disappointingly, it costs $50, so it’s not worth it.

CR 800, M 740, W 800 (Essay: 11)
I wasn’t expecting the 800 in reading at all (I thought I’d topped off at about 740), and that essay score is definitely the best I’ve received, but I’m not too pleased about my math score – I can do and have done better. As much as I hate to say it, I’m considering retaking the test.

What if I told you I wasn’t even close to 2000? :P

^But at least you took it as a sophomore. For us juniors, some of us wish we could take it as sophomores, so that we know where to improve or receive help at.

I need to improve everywhere :(. lol.

I definitely regret not taking the SAT last year.

I wish I’d taken it at least once before now.

I’m pretty sure I misbubbled 1 in Writing (the only MC I got wrong).

At least you have a higher chance of getting into a Ivy league college than anyone else on this board.
