***March 2014 SAT (US ONLY)***

for writing: what did you guys put for the origin of artichokes question?
i dont remember the answer but i think i put D. right??

for reading: there was this one question where i was torn between rudimentary hypothesis and informed prediction (or something similar to that). what did you guys put?

If I got it wrong and lost points for it, I’m sending a strongly worded letter to College Board; I read the question three times, thinking “wow, no way they made this one this easy!” and did it and got 2.8. They worded it as if they didn’t want you to subtract 10% from 3.2!

@UCSschoolsftw wasn’t the ‘sales price’ the price after the first deduction? Or I done goofed…?

Were they excited by the plastic or revered it?

I’m pretty sure it’s 10% AFTER the sale

In the blue book , a writing raw score (mc) of 48 with 11+ essay =800 … Do you guys think that applies to this test? I

Actually, I’m pretty sure that I put “excitement.”
lol. Yeah, I crossed out everything but excitement.
I got it right :)

What was passage 2 likely to disagree about?

Smelled like asine?
or
The buzz of the molecules

Can someone predict what score this is? :

Math: -2
Crit: -6 or 7
Writing: -3

@MovingtoTexas Idk I put revered,
Was the question in Math with the 2 circles, one big one small and they had a line segment that represented a radius for both and we had to find the ratio of the circles if the line segment ration was 2:1 or something like that experimental or not?

@movingtotexas
Definitely molecules, I remembered that I found proof in passage 2.

As for the rest of you, I know you won’t listen but haunting this thread won’t increase your score. You got what you got, and your time would be better spent elsewhere.

Sorry, ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■.com / sat-score-calculator /

@blakeballer22
Math:760
Reading:720
Writing: 730
Total: 2210

@MovingtoTexas

I’m pretty sure that it was “The Buzz of the Molecules.”

Passage two claims that technology isn’t advanced enough to be used to find out if vibrations are truly felt.

@UCschoolsftw I agree with you, got same answer

yea the math was sum ■■■■■■■■.

@UCSCHOOLSFTW @MELIORUS
Yup agreed

Btw for the essay, I finished it but I could’ve written 1 more sentence for my conclusion. I did 2 examples instead of 3. The prompt was the fortunate people one…and I wrote about Bill Gates and this rich guy who helped a poor friend with his business. Also, I left 5-6 lines blank on the 2nd page.

I don’t want an 8 which is what I got last time…I’m afraid.

like ■■■ was the m p one i could not get that

tbh u guys keep freaking out about it but by comparing answers u cant change anything so it is what it is
