Thank god. I thought it was impressions but I changed it at the last minute.

For the math section with the circles and triangles, what was the question even looking for? It was just so confusing!

Also, what was the question following that one?

Those two were the only hard questions on the Math honestly

I recall there being a sentence completion question with the word “placebo” in one of the choices, what was the answer to that?

I picked that one, not sure though.

i misread the notion one as motion the first time and was extremely confused lol but put it down anyways.

for the bijah passage, does anyone remember what they put for the question that asked which question best challenged the statements in one paragraph? I had a lot of trouble with that question (and that whole passage really) I think the answer I put had something to do with the other guy (Elijah?) and his property…

I put the one that had remedy as the second part of the choice; I forget what the first part was. I thought it’d be that or placebo, but my reasoning was that I don’t think those qualify as placebos… I have a question though, and it’s an embarrassing one. For the math section, I ran out of time on all of my sections. I think I had to omit like 13 (bad, I know). I had 3 (maybe 4) math sections. I think the ones I was able to answer are right for the most part. Also, for the essay, I got the prompt regarding the rich and their moral obligation for giving to the poor. I was going to do 5 paragraphs, but I was only able to do 4. I had an intro, a body paragraph about Bill Gates, a second body paragraph about Andrew Carnegie, and then a conclusion. I filled the two pages though. Any guess on what my grade for this will be?

I put the best challenge was the question of why wasnt Lucy in the records if she was still in Deerfield under the narrator’s speculation

@singmetosleep15
I put the question about his wife and why she didn’t appear in the records.

@JavaCoco
Placebo is for sure not the answer because a placebo is something that doesn’t actually heal the person, just gives them mental relief.
I’m guessing your math score will be in the low 600’s (620’s) if you got all the ones you answered correctly, an essay with 4 paragraphs is fine if you were thorough and informative in both of the bodies.

@Mathandmusic914 Same answer of you but there is varied opinion on that question

@Misteryman

△ = triangle
O = circle

The diagram looked something like this:

△ - O - △
.l …l…l
O - △ - O
.l…l…l
△ - O - △

(disregard the periods; they are placeholders)

The question says that each circle has a value assigned to it, and that the value for each triangle is the sum of all (values of) circles directly connected to it.

The given total of all the values of the triangles was 96, and it asked us to find the value of the circle.
One simple way to solve it was through a system of equations, where the center triangle (connected by 4 circles) would be 2t and the outer triangles (connected by 2 circles) would be t.

t, obviously, would equal to 2c (c being the value of the circle). So here’s the grand equation after meticulous substitution:

2t + 4t = 96
4c + 8c = 96
12c = 96
c = 8

8 was the answer.

Yeah, that was my thought process too for that question. I think I got in the high 600s or in the 700s for CR and writing. Hopefully it’s a decent score.

What was the sentence completion with linked…inept. Was that right?

Linked… Inept was on the film critic question. I got it wrong but the correct answer was indebted…honest

Seconding the indebted…honest for the film critic question. The people doing the reviews that aren’t critics don’t owe film makers anything and don’t get anything from their reviews, so they’ll be honest. Inept means no skill, and I’m pretty sure the sentence was talking about the reviewers in a positive way.

yeah, it’s indebted and honest

@UsetheforceHarry Wait, didn’t it say that each triangle was 96. Damnit, I got that wrong. Only one that I got wrong. Will that ruin my 800?

@Hawkace it said the sum of the triangles is 96.

1 wrong in math will put you at about a 780.

Is one wrong in math seriously that critical?

I had in my head that film critics were harsher than normal viewers, but I didn’t catch it until after the test that these film critics in the question were less harsh than normal viewers because of the perks. UGH!!!
